This role manages diverse financial activities requiring analysis and judgment in alignment with CIS principles practices and professional standards. This includes but not limited to:
- Planning and developing multiple budgets including making financial projections and forming long and short-term strategies (sponsored project program and agency budgets)
- Compiling and Analyzing key financial reports and metrics
- Conducting regular financial and process reviews and audits
- Providing leadership and subject matter expertise on fiscal policies and procedures
- Supervising mentoring and developing the CIS Business Services accounting staff and administrative front desk staff
- Serving as the financial liaison to the CIS Business Manager and CIS Leadership Team
- Developing and delivering financial presentations and training for CIS staff
Required Qualifications
Ability to provide strategic direction to accounting staff.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge Skills Abilities:Fund accounting; Excel intermediate level
