The Opportunity

The Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Monash University is looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to contribute to our growing AI in Health agenda.

The Lecturer would support the design development and evaluation of digital health tools that improve care quality equity and efficiency. The role will advance emerging research in areas such as machine learning clinical decision-support medical imaging and data-driven health services innovation. The position is expected to develop an independent research profile contribute to high-quality teaching and collaborate closely with clinicians industry and community partners to translate digital solutions into real-world impact.

As Senior Lecturer you would play a leadership role in advancing Monashs strategic priorities in AI-enabled digital health by driving innovative translational research and shaping high-quality teaching programs across the Faculty. This position will lead interdisciplinary collaborations across healthcare industry and global partners to deliver impactful AI solutionssuch as advanced analytics intelligent clinical systems and data-centric healthcare innovationsthat align with the Universitys mission of improving health outcomes through technology.
