Were seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Associate Benefits Consultant to join our Enterprise Group Solutions team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment communicates with clarity and professionalism and enjoys managing multiple priorities with precision.
As part of the Enterprise Group Solutions team youll work alongside experienced professionals to deliver customized group benefits solutions for our growing client base across Canada. This role reports directly to the Vice-President of Enterprise Group Solutions and is well-suited for individuals with a background in group insurance or employee benefits who are eager to contribute their expertise build strong client relationships and make a meaningful impact on organizational success.
The Associate Benefits Consultant will:
Serve as the primary point of contract for a portfolio of clients delivering best-in-class service and support.
Supports senior consultant in managing overall service delivery financial evaluations plan design renewals implementation and vendor transitions benchmarking and other projects.
Acts as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve any service needs or marketing initiatives for example eligibility billing policy interpretation and contract review.
Manage carrier changes with the client and ensures all necessary documentation completed accurately and timely.
Build and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their unique goals to deliver tailored solutions.
Stays abreast of benefit trend and changes in the insurance industry that may impact clients.
Participate in client meetings and presentations.
To be successful as an Associate Benefits Consultant you will need:
5 years of experience in the Canadian group benefits industry client service or account management
LLQP license (or willingness to obtain)
Strong ability to listen discern and prioritize with clients colleagues and carrier representatives
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively while keeping a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
Customer-focused mindset with a desire to contribute to a high-performing client-centric culture
Growth-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
