Description
Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of this resource is to provide the services of a full stack Oracle developer specialized in APEX PL/SQL with some exposure to the other Oracle development tools being used in these applications such as ODI and the relational database.

  • Works in partnership with clients advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems work to improve structure and efficiency of an organizations I and amp;IT systems.
  • The I and amp;IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management and amp; IT technology IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in their field and highly expert technical assistance.

General Skills:

  • Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable
  • Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
  • Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget to the highest quality meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
  • Prepares reports and presentations including options recommendations implementation plans etc.
  • Works with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements
  • Defines software hardware and network requirements
  • Analyzes I and amp;IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I and amp;IT
  • Designs tests installs and monitors new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems
  • Familiar with change-management principles and methodology
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Evaluation Criteria:
Price 30%.

Skills and Experience 70% as weighted below:

Core Technical Skills (35%):
  • Demonstrated experience building and designing Hyperion Planning applications (version 11) including all core components: Forms Reports Business Rules Task Lists meta data loading Essbase design and optimization with at least 7 years solid experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Hyperion 11.2 on premises.
  • Demonstrated experience loading and extracting data from Essbase using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Demonstrated experience upgrading and applying patches for Hyperion Planning.
  • At least five years experience working with Hyperion Planning in a Windows environment.
  • Must have worked on at least one other Hyperion Planning implementation where Oracle Access Manager (OAM) is used to manage the coarse-grained security.

Application-Specific Experience (35%):
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing performance for complex Hyperion Planning applications that manage funding and the collection of financial data from externa l entities.
  • Experience supporting a Hyperion Planning application that is deployed outside the organization across the internet.
  • Experience developing Hyperion Planning solutions that allocate and manage transfer payments.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining applications that use a custom-tool like APEX to manage Essbase metadata.
  • Experience working with both the business users and IT development teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively transfer knowledge to client staff.
  • Proven ability to manage the successful completion an assignment of this nature magnitude and complexity and achieve the results on schedule.
  • A team player with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Experience in dealing with system solutions related to funding modeling financial information management and web based n-tier technology implementation.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Government of Ontario Information Technology Standards (GO-ITS).
