About the Role

The Junior Debt Collection Officer plays a key role supporting the BlueRock Financial Operations team and contributing to their overall success. This permanent full-time opportunity will have you working day to day with our diverse client-facing advisors and their clients. No two days will be the same in this vibrant and fast-paced role.

What youll be doing

  • Engaging with our Credit Manager and other team members to assist with aspects of our debt collection process.
  • Utilising technology to assist with making our debt recovery process run smoothly and efficiently
  • Utilise financial data and tools to compile reports and present findings to the credit department.
  • Engaging with BlueRock clients in a firm but diplomatic manner to produce great results for both parties while maintaining good relationships.
  • Creating reports for Managers and Directors Identifying and implementing process improvement.
  • Making regular phone calls to follow up on debtors


Requirements

We want to hear from people who have:

  • Up to 1 year experience in a similar role ideally within a commercial/professional services or call centre environment working with multiple stakeholders
  • Clear and effective communication is essential.
  • The ability to explain complex financial issues in a way that clients can understand and the ability be persuasive without being confrontational.
  • A tertiary degree ideally in a financial field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Willingness to make outbound phone calls to clients
  • Collections experience is highly regarded
