Job Summary
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our well-established inpatient pediatrics program focused on safe high-quality and compassionate care at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to manage a wide range of pediatric conditions within a supportive collaborative hospital environment. The ideal candidate is patient-centered adaptable and committed to advancing pediatric care within our growing health system.
- Provide inpatient pediatric and newborn hospitalist care
- 7 days on 7 days off hospitalist schedule supporting work-life balance
- Manage acute pediatric conditions and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate closing with nursing case management emergency medicine and specialty services
- Communicate effectively with patients families and care teams
- Hospital privileges at NM Huntley McHenry and Woodstock Hospitals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development
