Job Summary
WHAT YOULL DO
- Collaborate intensively with Chinese and English partners to design learning outcomes monitor growth and thoughtfully address individual student needs
- Co-design and teach innovative curriculum that engages all learners in meaningful and challenging work that cultivates real-world problem solving skills and develops social responsibility
- Deeply connect with students colleagues and parents to vigorously uphold a culture of welcome safety and respect.
- Invoke a robust learning atmosphere that leads students to deeply value being at school and feel part of a rigorous and joyful learning community.
- Participate actively in ongoing professional learning
Qualifications :
WHAT YOU BRING
- Student teaching or equivalent experience with children in grades 1-5
- Full professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese
- Understanding of instructional skills to teach through a balanced literacy approach in the reading and writing workshop model
- Experience with problem-based mathematics instruction
- Highly effective collaborator eager to listen deeply contribute to a team and achieve goals together
- Deep dedication to continued learning and growth as an educator
- Respect for and appreciation of a diverse community of learners families and colleagues
- Ability to embrace change and consider new perspectives
- Bachelors degree required masters degree encouraged

Additional Information :
If hired for this position the annual salary range is between $53000.00 - $67000.00. The salary may vary depending on your professional experience and skills.
