We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team in Montreal East Quebec Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Reporting to the Inventory and Store Manager the Supervisor oversees store operations and inventory logistics to ensure efficiency and profitability. He or she supervises and trains his or her team maintains optimal inventory levels meets deadlines and ensures a high level of customer service.
What you will be responsible for:
- Supervise the work team to carry out various daily operational activities in the Laval and Montreal stores while ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop your teams skills on an ongoing basis.
- Motivate employees by promoting their engagement development and collaboration within the team.
- Empower employees to complete assigned tasks and achieve objectives
- Actively participate in the recruitment process and lead the onboarding process for new employees
- Ensure health and safety in the workplace as well as cleanliness and order.
- Implement the necessary measures to ensure environmental compliance
- Ensure the integrity and quality of receiving and shipping flows and manage related operational issues
- Oversee continuous improvement projects related to stores and inventory
- Participate with team members in cyclical inventory counts
- Review and ensure the quality of data compiled by your team
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or warehouse environment including 3 to 5 years in a management role.
- You have a college diploma in business administration or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience.
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and a clean driving record.
- You are experienced in team management and demonstrate motivational leadership.
- You excel in communication both oral and written and are comfortable in French and English.
- You stand out for your ability to motivate teams collaborate and build trusting relationships.
- You have good computer skills (Microsoft Office) and an excellent ability to solve problems manage priorities and take initiative while maintaining a strong focus on health safety and customer service.
