What You Will Do:
Apply comprehensive knowledge to plan and lead ServiceNow administration activities including user management and system configuration. Evaluate system performance results and recommend improvements affecting platform success. Function as a technical expert in ServiceNow operations while supervising administrative staff. Manage complex integrations and customization requirements with organizational policies compliance.
- Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform ensuring stability and optimal performance.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications workflows and UI policies.
- Manage user access roles and permissions.
- Monitor system health troubleshoot issues and apply fixes promptly.
- Implement updates patches and upgrades in alignment with best practices.
- Support integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain documentation for configurations processes and procedures.
What You Will Need:
- A Bachelors Degree is required
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- A minimum of FIVE (5) years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow core modules (Incident Problem Change Knowledge).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript Glide API).
- Knowledge of data imports reporting and dashboards.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Implementation Specialist for ITSM).
- Candidates with an ACTIVE SECRET or higher-level clearance are preferred.
- Experience with advanced modules (ITOM HRSD CSM).
- Exposure to integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of CMDB and asset management.
- Familiarity with Agile or DevOps practices.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms and security compliance.
