We are seeking an Order Manager to become part of our Supply Chain team in Hvidovre Copenhagen where you will oversee global logistics and order processing. Success in this role requires strong collaboration and effective communication.

About the job

As an Order Manager at INVISIO you will handle sales orders for customers as well as intercompany orders with our office and warehouse in Atlanta addition you will have to coordinate customer inquiries order planning deliveries and transports with the rest of the department so that we meet customer expectations.

You will handle order processing for specific customers in the rest of world (ROW) region and also provide support for our USA office.

Your responsibilities:

  • Order processing for ROW and intercompany orders for our USA office.
  • Follow-up on product availability delivery dates and order backlog.
  • Support for the sales department regarding customer orders and sample requests.
  • Plan and coordinate deliveries from our distribution center in Malmö including: ensuring picking packing shipping etc. and ensuring shipping details for sales and customers.
  • Responsible for handling customs for transports to Atlanta-USA as well as shipments outside the EU.
  • Contact with carriers and partners regarding deliveries.
  • Coordination with Manufacturing Sales and other internal colleagues to ensure optimal handling of customer orders.
  • Support for US colleagues regarding ERP data warehouse and order planning (Atlanta which is 6 hours behind Danish time)

About you

We are looking for a candidate who has a sales or other commercial background and has experience working with order management and logistics within industrial production.

You must be able to adapt to our procedure and curious about how the processes work and you must be motivated to manage your orders from receipt to invoicing. It is also important that you are good at collaborating and communicating with different people across departments and disciplines salespeople suppliers and customers.

You must also be able to be flexible with your working hours as there may occasionally be online meetings in the afternoon with the USA Atlanta which is 6 hours behind.

The following experience/skills are required:

  • 1-3 years of experience from an Order Management/Sales or Supply Chain position.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with a 3PL (third-party logistics) set-up.
  • 1-3 years of experience in handling shipments both within and outside the EU.
  • Having a commercial mindset which means understanding how orders are managed. Its essential to ensure everything runs smoothly while keeping track of the bigger picture.
  • Project management mindset including focus on planning and evaluation.
  • Able to maintain and optimize the use of IT systems (Microsoft programs and ERP system (We use Business Central).
  • Can speak write and understand English (which is our corporate language).
  • Danish fluency in speech and writing.

Additional information

The position is based in our HQ in Hvidovre Copenhagen and cannot be handled remotely or hybrid. We do not offer relocation assistance.

There may be some traveling days during the year to among others Atlanta USA and to our UK department.
