Welcome to Innovation Project & Portfolio Management

Innovation Project & Portfolio Management is part of our Research & Development division and plays a central role in Novonesis mission to better the world with biology. Youll be joining the Human Health Biosolutions & Explorative Growth (Ventures) Innovation Project Management team where collaboration inclusivity and knowledge sharing are at the heart of how we grow together. This position is based in Hørsholm and/or Lyngby Denmark.

In this role youll make an impact by:

Managing multiple New Product Development (NPD) projects targeting unmet customer needs within Human Health and Explorative Growth.

Navigating a highly explorative and risk-based innovation space by applying structured risk assessment embracing uncertainty and enabling fast learning cycles to drive informed decision-making.
Applying your project management expertise and leadership skills to provide direction clarity and follow-through in your projects.

Cultivating an environment of trust collaboration and accountability across cross-functional teams.

Driving validation of commercial and technical project assumptions enabling efficient decision-making and execution.

Building strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organisation fostering alignment and shared vision.

To succeed you must:

Hold a relevant Masters degree within science alongside significant experience in biotechnology and innovation. Supplementing degree within business administration and/or commercial experience is an advantage.

Bring at least 3 years of experience managing complex projects ideally within human health and/or in a risk/assumption-based innovative environment.

Have a robust project management toolbox with knowledge of agile methodologies being an advantage.

Are passionate about translating scientific insights into real-world solutions that meet customer needs.

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills can manage high complexity.

Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership capabilities empowering you to lead strategic initiatives effectively.

Thrive on collaboration building relationships at every level of the organisation.

On a personal level you are proactive self-motivated and committed to making a difference. Your curiosity and supportive nature help you contribute meaningfully to team efforts and you enjoy working closely with others to achieve shared goals.
