Why your role matters
Internal Audit provides independent assurance that the University is effectively managing key operational and strategic risks. The function assesses and strengthens processes related to risk management internal controls and governance contributing to the Universitys overall accountability and performance.
The Senior Analyst Internal Audit supports the delivery of audit activities aligned with UNSWs Progress for All Strategy and key risk areas. The role assists in executing projects within the Strategic Internal Audit Plan and provides independent objective assurance and advisory services to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls. This position regularly engages with mid- to senior-level management to discuss findings and recommend improvements and reports to the Internal Audit Senior Manager with no direct reports.
