Job Summary

Position: Mortgage Loan Closer

Location: Remote- Candidates must reside in Eastern or Central Time zone to be considered

Schedule: Full-Time 8:30 AM 5:00 PM EST

Compensation: $55000$75000 base per-loan bonus

Overtime: Eligible

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Closer to support increased loan volume within a growing operations team. This role is responsible for preparing auditing and funding conventional and government mortgage loans while ensuring accuracy compliance and on-time closings.

The Closer will work closely with the Closing Manager closing team operations sales partners and settlement agents to ensure all regulatory requirements and closing conditions are satisfied prior to funding.

Responsibilities:

Close and prepare funding for conventional and government mortgage loans

Prepare review and audit closing documents in a timely manner

Create and deliver initial Closing Disclosures in compliance with TRID requirements

Obtain borrower acknowledgement of Closing Disclosures within required timeframes

Deliver complete and accurate closing packages to settlement agents

Review signed closing documents to prepare loan funding

Prepare disbursement of funds per transaction terms

Review funding reports to ensure timely funding

Update the loan origination system with accurate closing data

Communicate clearly with escrow title loan officers and internal teams

Obtain or request missing conditions prior to funding

Perform post-closing tasks as needed including file audits delivery packages and document follow-up

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of recent mortgage loan closing experience at a independent Mortgage banker

Experience with conventional and government loan programs

Strong TRID knowledge and compliance awareness

Proficiency in Encompass

Ability to prioritize manage deadlines and maintain accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills
