Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Outpatient Oncology to provide dual leadership oversight for an established outpatient clinic and a newly opening clinic located nearby. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient-centered nursing care while managing daily operations staffing and clinical outcomes.
The Nurse Manager will operationalize evidence-based practices support regulatory compliance and foster a culture of accountability safety and exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership oversight for daily unit/department operations and staffing

Ensure delivery of high-quality patient-centered nursing care aligned with established policies and standards

Monitor evaluate and improve clinical outcomes and patient safety initiatives
-
Support accreditation regulatory compliance and achievement of internal/external benchmarks
-
Manage admissions and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient throughput
-
Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination across departments
-
Assign staff based on clinical competencies and patient care needs
-
Lead efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice and improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
-
Promote a culture of accountability transparency and service excellence
-
Review patient satisfaction feedback and implement improvement strategies
-
Support service recovery efforts and uphold a patient-first philosophy
-
Manage staff scheduling and productivity according to established guidelines
-
Oversee operating expenses supplies and equipment utilization
-
Ensure equipment maintenance meets regulatory and accreditation standards
Qualifications
Required:

Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed in Texas or Compact State
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Required)
-
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
-
Oncology Chemotherapy Certification
-
Minimum of 1 year of healthcare leadership experience
Preferred:
