Job Description Summary
The Project Procurement Leader oversees end-to-end procurement operations for EAP GSI ensuring that operations are safe with quality timely and cost-effective.
Reporting to the APAC Procurement & Logistics Leader this role drives strategic procurement planning vendor management risk mitigation and cross-functional collaboration to optimize supply chain efficiencies. The incumbent is also required to develop his teams capabilities enforces compliance and aligns procurement strategies with GE Vernova business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of order fulfilment specialists in GSI APAC; translate concepts evaluate strategic options drive and implement change advocate and embrace continuous improvements;
Drive the project procurement strategy create value-added initiatives and optimize project procurement activities to support project margin expansion while managing risks and opportunities;
Manage and engage key functional stakeholders to lead initiatives to develop and deliver improvement targets that are in line with the business strategy.
Drive strategic procurement planning with the objectives of providing the most feasible and cost-effective approach and due diligence to save cost to achieve region margin expansion plans whilst adhering to GEVs SQDC principles.
Provide strong leadership in his teams development and growth as well as professional guidance ensuring adherence to GSI processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement knowledge sharing technical excellence and development of competence and talents.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering or related field with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in an Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) environment within the Transmission & Distribution Power Generation or Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in at least 3 large and complex projects which should include at least 1 HVDC.
Possess strong leadership and experience to lead a team of professionals
Experience / knowledge in Project Management sourcing and/or procurement in substation projects.
Demonstrate experience and confidence navigating in high-level matrix set-up organization
