The Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences invites applications for the position of Senior Research Assistant to work on the Swiss International sponsored project Ref No IZSTZO-202612/1 entitled The genetics of congenital hypogonadism in Pakistan.
This is a short-term grant-funded contractual position.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
- provide assistance to the Principal Investigator in planning managing and conducting the research project by determining the theoretical aspects of the problem and selecting appropriate methods of approach
- carry out field sampling of families with genetic disorders conduct experiments and devise instrumentation and techniques to record and collect test results
- tabulate and correlate research data and interpret the results
- prepare write-ups of results manuscripts presentations and research proposals
- provide assistance to students and laboratory staff in setting up and conducting laboratory sessions.
