Required Qualifications Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be licensed or license-eligible as a Professional Counselor Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia or be eligible for Virginia licensure if currently licensed in another state. They should have at least three (3) years of professional clinical experience in a community or college/university counseling setting with expertise in mental health crisis assessment and individual therapy. Candidates should have a solid grounding in counseling theories and techniques experience with electronic health record systems and strong crisis assessment and intervention skills. They must be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and apply professional ethics confidently in practice. |
Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) or more years prior professional clinical experience working in a community or college/university counseling setting. Demonstrated ability to provide outreach prevention consultation and seminar presentations. Prior experience providing clinical supervision to interns graduate students or other clinical staff. |
