Position Overview

Adult inpatient behavioral health unit seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)
Provide compassionate patient-centered care in a structured inpatient psychiatric setting
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to adults in an inpatient behavioral health environment
Monitor assess and document patient conditions and progress
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with psychiatrists therapists and other healthcare professionals
Maintain compliance with facility policies safety protocols and regulatory standards

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience
Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
Effective communication de-escalation and teamwork abilities

Education & Licensure Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
Active New York State RN license
Primary Source Verification of license and registration through NYSED
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
