Role Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Manager to lead a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit. This frontline nursing leadership role combines operational clinical and people management responsibilities. The RN Manager will work closely with senior leadership to ensure safe efficient and high-quality maternal care while driving staff engagement compliance and performance outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a strong Labor & Delivery clinician with proven leadership skills capable of balancing operational execution with team development in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership for the Labor & Delivery unit ensuring safe staffing workflow efficiency and clinical excellence.
Plan organize and direct unit operations in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with leadership on policies procedures quality initiatives and performance improvement plans.
Support staff development coaching engagement and accountability.
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols accreditation standards and patient safety initiatives.
Foster a culture of collaboration professionalism and patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact/multistate license accepted.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree preferred.
Required certifications: BLS ACLS NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
Strong hands-on Labor & Delivery leadership background is essential.
