Position & Purpose

Snowy Mountains Grammar School is looking to appoint Boarding House Supervisors.

A boarding supervisor is a member of a team appointed to act in a pastoral and supervisory role of students in a residential situation. The team is a group with a high degree of interdependence geared towards the achievement of the goal of caring for those in their charge. The quality of care will be enhanced when supervisors have a high degree of confidence and trust in each other; are highly motivated to abide by the values of the School; and at all times will do what he or she reasonably can to help create an atmosphere of acceptance understanding and respect.

Qualifications Experience and Essentials

  • Have and meet the ongoing requirements of a WWCC NSW

  • Adhering to the Child Protection Policy and School Code of Conduct along with Employment Contract

  • Current first aid certificate

  • Current drivers licence and light rigid (LR) Licence or willingness to obtain

  • The full-time position requires the candidate to work 43 hours per week including three (3) sleepover shifts

Desirable

  • Wellbeing and pastoral care experience

  • Degree diploma certificate or relevant qualifications in education social work community work or working with teenagers
