As a Senior Software Engineer you will play a key role in diagnosing and optimising performance and applications that support business-critical systems working hands-on with complex high-throughput platforms to analyse code databases and infrastructure to improve scalability reliability and efficiency. Collaborating closely with Engineering and DevOps teams youll gain end-to-end exposure to high-performance production environments contribute to architectural reviews and modernisation initiatives and mentor engineers to elevate performance standardsgrowing personally and professionally with a company expanding globally and continuously evolving its product offering.

What youll be working on
Performance & Optimization
- Help improve the performance applications by identifying and fixing issues across application database and infrastructure layers.
- Work with web service and background systems to improve speed reliability and efficient use of resources.
- Suggest and implement practical improvements such as better asynchronous patterns caching and smarter design choices.
Design & Modernization
- Contribute to design discussions to ensure systems are scalable maintainable and performant.
- Be involved in modernising systems and exploring newer technologies.
What will help you be successful
- 5 years experience Framework (4.x) C# and performance diagnostics in production systems.
- Strong understanding Framework Core runtime behaviour including performance tuning and concurrency.
- Experience using profiling and debugging tools such as PerfView dotTrace Visual Studio Profiler and ETW.
- Hands-on experience optimising Entity Framework and database queries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines performance baselining and load testing tools (e.g. JMeter k6).
