Job Summary

Jesuit Dallas Mathematics Teacher

Jesuit Dallas is seeking a qualified and innovative educator to teach high school Mathematics in a faith based must enjoy working with adolescent males and their families. Successful candidates will possess a passion for forming adolescents engaging in life-long learning and collaborating with peers in the pursuit of the schools include the following:

Form and educate young men to be open to growth intellectually competent loving religious committed to working for justice and physically fit.
Teach in cooperation with course level teams five sectionsmathematics.
Collaborate with members of the Mathematics department in on-going curriculum development and review.
Participate in all departmental and school-wide faculty formation.
Engage in on-going professional development.
Participate in student-centered co-curricular extra-curricular service and/or retreat opportunities.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Ability to teach AP Calculus and multivariate calculus.
Experience teaching in a Standards Aligned Curriculum preferred.
Ability to coach high school athletics preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Works in a fast paced environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges deadlines and a diverse array of contacts.
May work at a desk and computer for an extended period of time;
Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
