The Headhunter Group is recruiting an Investment Professional (Associate / Investment Manager) for an international private equity investor with a strong focus on the European mid-market. The firm has recently completed a successful fundraising and is at the start of a new investment cycle. This role offers a unique opportunity to join at an early stage of deployment and actively contribute to deal execution and portfolio value creation.
Role Description
In this position the Investment Professional plays an active role within the investment team with a clear focus on sourcing analysing and executing investments. She works closely with senior team members and quickly gains hands-on responsibility across transactions. The role combines strong analytical work with an entrepreneurial mindset and offers a clear path to grow into a more senior position within the deal team.
Responsibilities
As an Investment Professional she is responsible for:
Analysing and evaluating potential investment opportunities
Building financial models valuations and investment cases
Supporting due diligence processes and transaction execution
Active involvement in deal execution and portfolio management
Close collaboration with the internal investment team
Interaction with management teams advisors and external stakeholders
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings:
38 years of relevant experience in private equity M&A corporate finance strategy consulting or corporate development
Strong analytical and financial skill set
Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in building businesses
Proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership independently
Fluent German (native or near-native level)
Strong command of English
