Design & Technology Teacher – Secondary School – Essex

The Headteacher of this well-regarded secondary school in Essex is seeking to appoint a skilled and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join a well-established and forward-thinking DT department from January. Design & Technology is a valued subject within the school supporting creativity technical understanding and problem-solving alongside strong academic expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a DT Teacher who enjoys delivering practical well-structured lessons and developing students confidence in both design theory and hands-on making. You will teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to deliver GCSE depending on experience. The school welcomes specialists in Product Design Resistant Materials Engineering Graphics or related DT disciplines. Teachers are supported to teach within their strengths wherever possible.
