Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager (RN) to provide 24/7 leadership and operational oversight for a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care staff performance regulatory compliance and efficient unit operations in alignment with evidence-based nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour management and leadership of the Labor & Delivery unit
Ensure patient care meets established clinical and quality standards
Supervise mentor and develop nursing staff
Oversee staffing scheduling performance management and unit workflow
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Ensure compliance with state federal and accreditation requirements
Promote a culture of safety accountability and patient-centered care

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
BSN required

Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent clinical RN experience
1 2 years of progressive nursing leadership or management experience

Licensure & Certifications

Active RN License State of Nevada
BLS (BCLS) Required
ACLS Required
NRP Required

Additional Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge and skills appropriate to patient populations served
Strong leadership communication and organizational abilities
Ability to manage operations in a fast-paced high-volume environment
