Guidewire Business analyst - Hybrid in Lake Mary Florida - 6 month CTH

Job Summary
- Serve as subject matter expert for Guidewire PolicyCenter including configuration and integration.
- Analyze and document business change requests and assess system impacts.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders solution architects developers and QA teams.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation such as Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) use cases wireframes and system flow diagrams.
- Support the system design process and clarify requirements for the IT/Application Delivery team.
- Coordinate and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and QA testing efforts.
- Triage production issues with Operations prior to involving development teams.
- Act as liaison between business development and support teams.
- Research dependencies and design integration plans for internal and external applications.
- Shepherd system enhancements and new functionalities through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ensure test cases are accurate and comprehensive for both new and existing system functionality.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Apply knowledge of homeowners insurance (commercial property insurance is a plus).
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and negotiate consensus among departments.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite browser development tools and familiarity with HTML XML SOAP APIs and UX design principles.
- Support a fast-paced growing environment with collaboration across onshore and offshore teams.
- Report to BA Manager and work across multiple leads and projects.
