Functional Test Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Lead functional testing efforts across multiple projects ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

Design review and maintain comprehensive test cases test scripts and test data.

Execute functional regression integration and system testing.

Perform SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.

Identify document and track defects using appropriate tools (Azure DevOps).

Ensure timely reporting of test progress metrics and risks to stakeholders.

Mentor and guide junior testers ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

Participate in test planning estimation and resource allocation.

Support UAT and production validation as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

Strong experience in functional testing across web and enterprise applications.

Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Hands-on experience with test management tools (Azure DevOps).

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
