Job Summary
Job Title: SAP ABAP HR Developer
Location: Minneapolis MN
Key Responsibilities
-
Design develop and support ABAP programs for SAP HCM / HR modules
-
Develop reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (RICEF)
-
Work on HR-specific objects including:
-
Infotypes
-
Payroll schemas and PCRs (supporting role)
-
Time Management enhancements
-
-
Develop ALV reports BDCs BAPIs RFCs and IDocs
-
Implement user exits BAdIs and enhancements related to HR
-
Support HR processes such as Personnel Administration Organizational Management Payroll and Time Management
-
Collaborate with functional consultants to gather and understand business requirements
-
Perform unit testing debugging and performance tuning
-
Provide production support and resolve HR-related SAP issues
-
Prepare technical documentation and follow SAP best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
6 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
-
Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP HR / HCM
-
In-depth knowledge of:
-
HR Infotypes and data structures
-
Logical databases (PNP/PNPCE)
-

Experience with Classical & Interactive ALV
-
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
-
Experience working in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
-
Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
-
Experience with SAP HANA (CDS Views AMDP basic)
-
Exposure to SuccessFactors integrations
-
Experience in government or public sector projects
-
SAP ABAP or HCM certification
-
Knowledge of HR forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms)
Education
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field (preferred)
