Role specifics and benefits:
- Responsibilities: Lead nursing operations as DON ensuring regulatory compliance and highquality patient care; oversee staffing scheduling performance management and onboarding; develop and implement policies and protocols; monitor clinical outcomes patient safety metrics and infection prevention; coordinate interdisciplinary teams; mentor clinical leaders; manage budgets and staffing models; lead investigations and corrective actions after incidents; champion evidencebased practice and professional development; partner with physicians and administrators to align nursing strategy with organizational goals; drive initiatives to improve patient experience and caregiver engagement; cultivate a learning culture with ongoing education and simulation training; ensure successful accreditation preparation and survey readiness; advocate for the needs of vulnerable populations and ensure culturally competent care.
