Description

Position Title: Systems Engineer III

Location: San Diego CA

Position Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $115000 - $140000

Security Clearance Requirement: Position requires active security clearance

Years of Experience: 7 years experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

This roleinvolves designing implementing and maintaining secure communication systems that allow military aircraft ships and ground units to share critical tactical information in real-time.

Requirements

Minimum seven (7) years of demonstrated technical experience within the last ten (10) years in:

All phases of military data link: testing requirements analysis definition design specifications integration system installation and training for complex military systems.
Preparation and review of technical instructions engineering plans technical designs and other systems integration and test-related documents.
Planning and executing DoD Functional Qualification Testing (FQT) and troubleshooting of Software Defined Radio (SDR) or comparable systems.
Analysis of SDR functional requirements and test objectives; test planning; test architecture definition and configuration; test execution data reduction analysis and reporting.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

Seven (7) years of demonstrated technical experience within the last ten (10) years to include:

Systems engineering in support of Multifunction Information Distribution System (MIDS) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Airborne Maritime Fixed (AMF) or similar software-defined radio systems.
Leading analysis of new Functional Baseline requirements for MIDS JTRS software including FPGA Link 16 waveform and Operating Environment (OE) software.
