Ive had an incredible journey working as an administration coordinator for the Refugee Health team in Armidale. Ive loved having the opportunity to support the local refugee community as part of a compassionate & hard-working team and to work with an extensive network of local agencies.

Working in this role has ignited a passion within me for working with culturally & linguistically diverse people and I feel very privileged to be a part of team helping clients thrive. I will carry everything Ive learnt the experiences Ive had and the relationships Ive made in this space for a very long time

Do you want a role where your work truly makes a difference helping people feel supported safe and cared for Join our friendly and compassionate team at the refugee health clinic in Armidale as our Administration Coordinator.

Youll be at the heart of our clinic keeping everything running smoothly supporting both clinicians and patients and helping our multi-disciplinary team provide high-quality culturally sensitive care. Every day will be different and every day youll see the impact of your work in the lives of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talking directly with refugees building trusting relationships making them feel welcome and understood.
  • Coordinate interpreter bookings and clinic appointments using your judgement to assess when interpreters are needed.
  • Supporting our clinicians with clinic coordination documentation and workflow management.
  • Connecting with local community services and hospitals to support our patients.
