KIA MASTER TECHNICIAN
Location: Oakes Kia of Olathe Olathe KS
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday with rotating Saturdays
Compensation: Starting at $35 per hour based on experience and certification level

ABOUT THE ROLE

Oakes Kia of Olathe is seeking an experienced Kia Master Certified Technician to join our award-winning service team. This role is ideal for a technician who excels at advanced diagnostics takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys leading by example in the shop.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Perform advanced diagnostics maintenance and repairs on Kia vehicles using manufacturer-approved tools and procedures

• Diagnose complex electrical engine drivability and transmission issues

• Lead by example and support the development of other technicians

• Ensure all repairs meet or exceed Kia and Oakes Auto Group quality standards

• Accurately document repairs and communicate clearly with Service Advisors and leadership

• Stay current with Kia technology training and service updates

• Support shop organization workflow efficiency and continuous improvement efforts

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Fully Kia Master Certified with all required classroom and virtual training completed and a minimum of three consecutive years of experience working in a Kia dealership. Brings strong diagnostic capabilities across multiple vehicle systems with a high level of attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Communicates effectively works well within a team and maintains a professional reliable and leadership-minded approach on the shop floor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid drivers license with a clean or acceptable driving record

• Ability to pass a standard background check

• Strong reliability and consistent attendance

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer-focused environment

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

• Kia Master Certification required
