Job Description:

Develop forward looking insight about market trends that shape future strategies

Corporate Strategy:

  • Analyze external trends and key implications to overall MedTech industry

  • Orchestrate management discussion to discuss evolving opportunities and challenges strategic agenda and formulate strategies

  • Pioneer innovation strategies to sustain our leadership at the forefront of the industry

  • Shape enterprise agenda and define near-term and mid-to-long term priorities; support achievement of corporate imperatives

PMO: Lead project management efforts of prioritized strategic initiatives. Mobilize enterprise resources to drive progress and deliverables. Engage and influence leaders for change management and decision-making. Conduct dashboard tracking to review progress and escalate critical issues.

Business Strategy:

  • Generate external insight about market trends competitive landscape market segmentation customer insight and regulatory environment pertaining to specific product platforms or franchises.

  • Explore and assess adjacency market opportunities for expansion beyond current product space.

  • Identify and analyze emerging business opportunities. Partner closely with commercial leaders to develop strategies to support growth agenda at BU or franchise level.

  • Act as PMO driving end-to-end strategy development and implementation for prioritized franchise / BU strategic initiatives.

  • Support corporate strategy cascade and synchronization among corporate franchise and BU strategies.

Talent Management and Development:

  • Coach and develop junior members of CD&BT on project-basis and/or as direct reports

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree from top-ranked university
  • Overseas MBA preferred
  • 8 years of work experience in corporate strategy / management consulting with track records of outstanding performance and progression. Commercial experiences / expertise in specific domains are pluses.

Business Leadership:

  • Robust business acumen in managing commercial operations and driving business growth
  • Exceptional leadership to propel project execution with ability to navigate complex context
  • Strong communication and influence skills across commercial team and regional/global stakeholders
  • Excellent people management skills; highly-effective in steering project teams and in developing talent
  • Strong team mentality with collaborative mindset

Strategy and Analytics:

  • Solid strategic thinking and problem-solving with ability to synthesize multiple perspectives into frameworks
  • Effective application of analytics to extract insights and derive solutions (e.g. develop business cases quantitative models)
  • Independent delivery of high-quality project outputs
