Yins lab led by Asst/Prof YIN Xiaole focuses on understanding the environment-microbe-human complex interactions. Yins lab is looking for a highly motivated Project Officer (RO) with an interest in environmental microbiology. The RO will work on a project aiming to understand the change of microbial community and the corresponding changes of antimicrobial resistance and use the insights to develop approaches for intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
The roles of this position include:
Rigorous study design.
Wet-lab experiments.
Perform in-depth critical data analyses.
Effectively communicate through presentations and high-quality journal publications.
Assist in supervising research students in the group.
Job Requirements
The Project Officer is expected to meet the following minimum requirements:
Bachelors degree in microbiology environmental engineering and sciences or a related field.
Experience in molecular biology.
A strong interest in interdisciplinary research.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with group members and collaborators.
Good oral and written communication skills in English- essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and with minimum supervision.
