Job description

We are seeking a motivated Associate to join our Independence function within Internal Firm Services. As an Independence Specialist you will play a key role in supporting the firms compliance with independence requirements particularly in the areas of scope of services. This role will lead you to activelyparticipatein our networks Independence Assessment Center of Excellence serving as a subject matter resource for independence matters.

In this role you willbe responsible forproviding guidance and support to colleagues onindependencepolicies and regulations related to non-audit services helping to assess and review service offerings to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards. You will collaborate with team members to evaluate proposed engagementsidentifypotential independence risks and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the Center of Excellence.

Your attention to detail strong analytical skills and commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards will help safeguard the firms reputation and build trust with clients and stakeholders.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented service-minded professional with an interest in compliance and risk management to gain valuable experience in a dynamicenvironment. Serve as a reliable point of contact for independence-related queries empowering colleagues to navigate complex requirements confidently and efficiently.
Take a proactive approach anddemonstratea keen eye for process improvement to enhance the effectiveness of the Independence Assessment Center of Excellence.
Safeguard the firms standards and foster a culture of ethical awareness and continuous learning within the team.
Support the growth and sustainability of PwCs business by ensuring thathigh standardsof professionalism and compliance are consistently met.

About You

Relevant academic studies such as degrees or certifications in law business administration finance or another related discipline are highlyadvantageous; or have a background in compliance risk management or a related field.

Demonstratea strong senseof responsibility and integrity.
