What Youll Do:

Were seeking a talented and experienced Senior Network Developer to join our Network Development this role youll play a critical part in designing developing automating and maintaining the networking software and infrastructure that powers CoreWeaves GPU cloud.

Your day-to-day will involve writing code creating configuration templates designing dashboards building CLI tools and working closely with our Network Engineering and Network Observability teams to automate operate and monitor CoreWeaves network.

Your goal To make our network so highly automated and intelligent that youll almost forget its even there.

About the role:

  • Use your skills in Python Go and Bash to write scripts and tools that make deploying managing and monitoring our network a breeze.
  • Work closely with software developers system engineers and security teams to ensure our network automation solutions mesh well with our cloud applications and internal services.
  • Implement and manage Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) processes to automate network device provisioning and configuration with little human interaction.
  • Oversee network projects from start to finishplanning executing and delivering network augments upgrades or new network vendor deployments.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues and provide timely support to the operations team.
  • Share your knowledge and guide junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews design discussions RFCs and architecture decisions to ensure high-quality software development practices.

Who You Are:

  • 8 years as a Network Engineer Software Developer Systems Administrator or similar rolepreferably in large-scale enterprise or cloud settings.
  • You bring a positive mindset without an ego. Youre always ready to help junior team members and learn from the more senior ones.
  • You love automating tasks/processes and seeing systems come to life with near zero human interaction.
  • Proficient in languages like Python Go and Bash and tooling like Ansible Jinja and NetBox.
  • Youre willing (and excited) to containerize just about anything in Kubernetes.
  • Deep familiarity with Prometheus Grafana Alertmanager gNMI and SNMP.
  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of Linux.
  • Youve worked with a variety of networking platforms including:
    • NVIDIA Cumulus Linux
    • Nokia SR OS and SR Linux
    • Arista EOS
  • Experience supporting and rolling out large-scale infrastructure projects.

Nice to Have (but not required)

  • College Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Front-End Skills: Experience with JavaScript and other front-end tools.
  • Network Certifications: Certifications like CCNA CCNP or similar.
  • Custom Metrics and Exporters: Experience writing custom metric collectors and exporters.

The base salary range for this role is $165000 to $242000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge skills experience and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining addition to base salary our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus equity awards and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office based on role requirements for specialized skill sets.
