Job Summary: | The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Section of Pediatric Plastic Surgery in Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (Anschutz Medical Campus) is recruiting a Plastic Surgeon for a split adult 0.5 FTE and pediatric 0.5 FTE available at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited Plastic Surgery residency program and pediatric and craniofacial surgery fellowship and be eligible for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The position will primarily focus on pediatric general plastic microtia reconstruction vascular anomalies cleft and craniofacial surgery and will involve care of patients at the Childrens Hospital Colorado Network of Care on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora and Childrens Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs. The adult component will focus on adult craniofacial surgery including facial trauma facial feminization and building an adult craniofacial practice. The candidate must also demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills and have interest in pediatric plastic surgery research. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgical care including pediatric general plastic surgery microtia reconstruction vascular anomalies cleft and craniofacial procedures). Provide adult craniofacial surgical services with an emphasis on facial trauma facial feminization and the development and growth of an adult craniofacial practice. Maintain high-quality perioperative and longitudinal patient management by conducting thorough evaluations developing evidence-based treatment plans and coordinating multidisciplinary care across referring providers and hospital partners. Contribute to academic missions through research and scholarship with a focus on pediatric plastic surgery research activities outcomes evaluation and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills by partnering effectively with faculty trainees APPs and staff and supporting a patient-centered clinical environment. | |

Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Assistant Professor: $325000-$350000 Associate Professor: $375000-$410000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
