An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiographer Aide to join the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Bon Secours Hospital Cork. This is a permanent full-time position within a busy supportive and patient-focused environment offering excellent exposure to a wide range of imaging specialties.
The Radiology service at Bon Secours Hospital Cork works in close partnership with a very busy Oncology unit elective Orthopaedics Pain Management services and a Medical Assessment Unit. The department provides imaging across a broad range of specialties making it a particularly rewarding place to work due to the variety of patient profiles and clinical experience.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a stimulating healthcare setting with strong potential for learning development and career progression. The successful candidate will be able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The Role
As a Radiographer Aide you will support Radiographers and the wider team in delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service while ensuring a positive and compassionate experience for patients.
Person Specification
Essential / Desirable Criteria:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent (pass in at least 6 subjects)
- Previous experience in a Radiography Department is desirable
- A keen interest in working in a caring patient-focused profession
- Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Fluency in English
- Computer literacy
- Flexibility reliability and the ability to use initiative
- Available for immediate start
