Job Summary

Job Description:

As an Industrial Planning & Scheduling Space at Airbus Defence and Space SAU you will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining robust production plans and schedules for our complex space programs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient resource utilization and on-time delivery of critical components and systems.

RESPONSABILITIES:
- Develop and manage detailed industrial plans and schedules for various space projects encompassing design manufacturing assembly integration and testing phases.

- Collaborate closely with manuf. engineering production procurement and quality teams to gather requirements and ensure a robust plan alignment.
- Implement and maintain planning tools and software (e.g. SAP MS Project Planisware or specialized planning applications) to track progress identify deviations and generate reports.

- Proactively identify and analyze potential production constraints resource conflicts and schedule risks proposing mitigation strategies.
- Develop what-if scenarios and contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and maintain project timelines.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency schedule adherence and resource utilization providing regular updates to stakeholders.

- Participate in industrial/manuf. readiness reviews and provide input on manufacturing feasibility and capacity.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies within the space sector.

- Support cost control initiatives by optimizing resource allocation and production lead times.

SKILLS:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Aerospace Engineering Operations Management or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (typically 3 years) in industrial planning production scheduling or project management within a complex manufacturing environment preferably in the aerospace or space industry.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work under pressure manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
