As a Clinical Nurse Educator with Cancer Care you will deliver and evaluate clinical education programs in consultation with Operations Manager Nurse Unit Manager Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants to support the delivery of safe Patient care. You will be responsible for a portfolio of Key Performance Indicators and participate in continual quality improvement and projects within the unit.

Employment details

Positions available: Permanent Full-time

Salary Classification: Clinical Nurse Educator Year 1 - 2

Remuneration: $56.98 to $58.82per hour super annual leave loading

INCENTIVE: UP TO $2000 RELOCATION INCENTIVE BY NEGOTIATION

Selection criteria (Essential)
  • Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with recent extensive post registration experience in Cancer including chemotherapy administration and vascular access management.
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications in cancer nursing and current Workplace Training and Assessment Cert IV or willingness to work towards same.
  • Experience in developing and delivering education programs specific to Haematology and Medical Oncology.
  • Demonstrated leadership communication organisational and interpersonal skills.
Selection Criteria (Desirable)
  • Well-rounded clinical experience inboth Haematology and Medical Oncology including management of complex conditions and therapies across these specialties.

  • Be an Australian citizen permanent resident or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment checks. Checks include: reference checks work rights criminal history check and WWCC.
  • Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
