A fantastic opportunity with a privately owned civil engineering construction company who work on local authorities and main roads projects across QLD & NSW. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry this contactor is a structures specialist with a long history in the industry.

We are currently seeking a Safety Advisor to join the civil construction team. This $20M project consists of earthworks civils services associated across an NSW mining project.

You will report directly into the Project Manager successfully managing and mitigating safety risks and impacts on site. You will implement the OH&S practices systems and procedures ensuring that safety standards are kept to an ultimate high on site. Site inductions training and auditing will be part of your everyday responsibilities

To be successful you must have a minimum of 5 years of Safety civil construction or infrastructure experience ideally across main roads projects for a contractor in similar conditions. Diploma in WHS or equivalent required. Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels encouraging and effectively promoting a safe working environment. Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and proficient with Microsoft suite.
