Position Summary
Ready to be the superhero of our nursing unit As our Registered Nurse II Neighborhood/Unit Manager youll be the captain of our care crew steering the ship of established policies and programs. Youll orchestrate the symphony of nursing care conduct the chorus of scheduling and personnel management and ensure our PPS and MDS compliance hits all the right notes. Your superpower Coordinating care based on each residents unique needs and preferences. Youll also be our talent scout helping select and mentor our amazing C.N.A.s L.P.N.s and R.N.s. Get ready to be the coach cheerleader and MVP all rolled into one!
Your Exciting Mission (should you choose to accept it):
- Be the health detective! Monitor residents needs swoop in with timely interventions and spread the word to your fellow heroes. Daily rounds More like daily adventures in quality care!
- Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes for pre-admission assessments. No potential resident detail will escape your keen eye!
- Embrace your inner tech guru! Evaluate and implement new gadgets and gizmos to make our care even more fantastic.
- Be the go-to guru for staff in those heart-racing moments of clinical emergencies and resident status changes. Your calm in the storm will be legendary!
- Don your auditor hat and perform compliance checks. Its like a scavenger hunt but way more important!
- Orchestrate care plans and patient care conferences like a maestro. Your baton A pen. Your orchestra An interdisciplinary team of healthcare rockstars.
- Become the MDS compliance wizard (magic wand not included but highly recommended).
- Channel your inner paperwork ninja ensuring admission documents are complete accurate and up to snuff with company standards.

Qualifications :
Your Superhero Toolkit
- Your secret identity: A licensed Registered Nurse in the State of practice (BSN preferred - because who doesnt love extra letters after their name)
- Your origin story: At least 2 years of adventure in a Skilled Nursing Community. Were talking real-life experience not just binge-watching medical dramas!
- Your leadership powers: 1-2 years of herding cats... er we mean supervising and managing direct reports. Youve got the magic touch when it comes to staff management!
- Your encyclopedic knowledge: Health Department regulations including the thrilling world of annual Federal and State Health Department surveys PPS MDS and OBRA requirements. Its like knowing all the cheat codes but for healthcare!
- Your tech-savvy skills: Ability to wrangle Microsoft Office Windows and other software programs relevant to the job. No need for a computer science degree but if you can turn it off and on again youre halfway there!
