Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the maritime and shipping sector
- Promote laboratory water testing services (e.g. ballast water potable water wastewater environmental (IHM) monitoring)
- Generate leads through client meetings industry events and referrals
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients
- Negotiate pricing contracts and service agreements
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ship owners operators managers shipyards and maritime agents
- Act as the main point of contact for clients ensuring timely follow-up and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with laboratory operations and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Market & Industry Awareness
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and regulatory developments (IMO ballast water regulations port state control
- Provide feedback to management on market needs and potential service expansion
Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales records forecasts and CRM updates
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management
Qualifications :
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain services in a clear client-friendly manner
- Self-motivated proactive and results-oriented
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
