Software Engineering Team Manager

You will lead and develop a group of Software engineers that develops and runs digital solutions used by co-workers enabling them to develop the entire IKEA range. Part of the portfolio are commercial solutions such as Price tag management Digital asset management and content management. 

Your focus is to; 

• Secure a competent and high-performing team. 

• Provide thought leadership and innovation to address business challenges. 

• Lead and support DevOps and an agile culture 

• Establish and implement common ways of working. 

• Collaborate with stakeholders including governance process operations shared service counterparts suppliers and other digital units. 

• Coach and guide the team with up-to-date technology expertise.

• You have proven expertise as a Software Engineering Manager your leadership style nurtures both strategic vision and hands-on assistance fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.  

• You can build robust relationships and trust with peers and stakeholders. 

• A solidbackground in Software Engineering. 

• You understand how emerging technologies and trends can improve customer and co-worker experiences.  

• You harmonize technology with user experience to create sustainable forward-thinking solutions that meet user and business needs. 

• You learn from failures and use them to build better ways to solve a challenging task together with your colleagues.  

• You enjoy an agile and iterative yet structured way of working and achieving results together with a team in a flexible environment but also have a strong individual drive to deliver high-quality results on time.  

• You have great communication and networking skills and are fluent in written and spoken English.  

• Travelling based on business needs might be necessary. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including active listening coaching and facilitation with an emphasis on clear structured and honest communication.

Additional Information :

This is a full-time position located in Malmö (Aligned with our operational requirements gatherings in IKEAs headquarters in Älmhult are integral to our business operation).
