The role
A great opportunity exists for a Counsel to join our Sydney Corporate Real Estate practice on a 14-month fixed term contract. The role involves providing legal advice and support on a range of real estate transactions and matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on legal aspects of real estate transactions including acquisitions disposals leasing development projects platform transactions and general property advice
- Draft review and negotiate a variety of real estate contracts
- Liaise with clients counterparties and external counsel as required
- Supervise and manage team of graduate associate and senior associate level real estate specialists
Qualifications :
- Australia qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate in Australia
- Significant post-qualification experience in corporate real estate law
- Strong drafting negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work to deadlines
- Experience in a managing and a team (law firm or in-house team preferred)
