Counsel, Real Estate 14 months Fixed Term Contract

The role

A great opportunity exists for a Counsel to join our Sydney Corporate Real Estate practice on a 14-month fixed term contract. The role involves providing legal advice and support on a range of real estate transactions and matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on legal aspects of real estate transactions including acquisitions disposals leasing development projects platform transactions and general property advice
• Draft review and negotiate a variety of real estate contracts
• Liaise with clients counterparties and external counsel as required
• Supervise and manage team of graduate associate and senior associate level real estate specialists

Qualifications :

• Australia qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate in Australia
• Significant post-qualification experience in corporate real estate law
• Strong drafting negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work to deadlines
• Experience in a managing and a team (law firm or in-house team preferred)
