Job Summary
Were looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience across AWS container orchestration and core networking to join our engineering team. Youll play a key role in designing building and maintaining scalable infrastructure that supports our rapidly growing platforms. If you enjoy automation cloud architecture and working within high-performing engineering teamsthis role is for you.
What Youll Do
- Design build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS following best practices.
- Manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters ideally with hands-on experience in Amazon EKS.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions GitLab CI CircleCI or similar.
- Maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Design secure and reliable network architectures including VPCs routing load balancing and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance reliability and costsleading improvements across the platform.
- Collaborate closely with developers architects and security teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in an on-call rotation (where applicable).
Qualifications :
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2 IAM VPC S3 ALB/NLB Route 53 CloudWatch etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP DNS load balancing VPNs routing and firewalls.
- Practical experience running Kubernetes in production; EKS experience highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Experience with Docker and container-based build/deploy workflows.
- Comfortable working with Linux systems and shell scripting.
- A passion for automation reliability and performance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within agile teams.
Nice to have:
- Dynatrace for monitoring and Karpenter for Kubernetes.
- Experience with service meshes (e.g. Istio Linkerd).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus Grafana ELK OpenTelemetry).
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud-native environments.
- Programming or scripting skills (Python Go Bash).
