About the Role
As a Landlord and Tenant Solicitor you will:
- Advise on commercial and residential landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals possession proceedings and tenancy disputes
- Manage your own caseload working with a wide range of clients
- Draft and negotiate tenancy agreements licences and related legal documents
- Represent clients in court and tribunal hearings
- Collaborate with partners and senior team members on complex cases
Candidate Profile: Required Skills & Experience
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- 24 years PQEwith demonstrable experience in landlord and tenant law
- Solid technical knowledgeof relevant legislation and case law
- Experience managing a full caseloadin both residential and commercial property matters
- Excellent drafting negotiation and advocacy skills
- Strong communication and client management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Attributes
- Previous experience in a City or leading regional firm
- Experience with leasehold enfranchisement and complex possession proceedings
- Working knowledge of property litigation
