This role is ideal for a CNC Machinist who enjoys working in a demanding industrial environment and is confident making real-time decisions on the shop floor. You will play a direct role in producing critical rail components by setting up running and maintaining CNC equipment while meeting strict quality and production standards. The work is hands-on fast-moving and best suited for someone who is dependable detail-focused and comfortable working independently.
Requirements
In this position you will operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines interpret technical drawings and machining code and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent high-quality output. You will inspect parts identify machining issues and resolve them efficiently to keep production moving. Success in this role requires strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of your work without constant oversight.
Primary Duties Include:
- Set up operate and monitor CNC machines to manufacture rail products
- Interpret blueprints schematics and G-code to ensure proper machining
- Perform quality checks troubleshoot problems and adjust programs as needed
- Use hand tools and shop equipment to support daily production goals
We are looking for a CNC Machinist with demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial setting. Candidates should be reliable organized and capable of managing priorities in a production-driven environment. A high school diploma or GED is required along with experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers micrometers and tape measures.
