Position Description:
Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Performs duties such as feeding bathing dressing grooming assisting with mobility changing linens and transporting or transferring patients as required. Employees in this role hold credentials such as Medical Assistant Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Behavioral Health Assistant (BHA).
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of assistive nursing procedures
- Knowledge of sanitation personal hygiene basic health and safety practices
- Knowledge of human anatomy
- Ability to maintain attention to detail
Special Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Behavioral Health Technician
