Job Summary

Sensory Integration Qualified Occupational Therapist

Location: Kings Lynn
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 4 days per week (flexible working considered)

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Sensory Integration (SI) qualified Occupational Therapist to join our brand-new specialist schoolin Kings Lynn. This is a unique chance to shape and deliver an innovative OT service within a supportive educational environment dedicated to children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist sensory integration assessments and interventions for pupils with sensory processing difficulties.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support functional skills emotional regulation and participation in learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers support staff and families to embed sensory strategies into the school day.
Deliver training and advice to staff and parents to promote understanding and effective use of sensory approaches.
Contribute to the development of a whole-school sensory-friendly environment.

Requirements:

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Postgraduate qualification in Sensory Integration (essential).
Experience working with children and young people with autism learning disabilities or complex needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for creating inclusive supportive environments for pupils.
